Our runners and walkers are committed to raising awareness and funds for abused & neglected children in their community. Austin team members support the Austin Children’s Shelter, but you can help raise awareness and funds for abused & neglected children in any community where we have runners or walkers training with us! Help our team members reach their goal by sponsoring your favorite team member. Even $1 per mile will make a difference! Our organization is unique in that 100% of donations go directly to the shelter and is 100% tax deductible. When the new season begins, you will be able to select your runner below to show your support by credit card or at our Marathon After-Party.
Alternate Donation Form
If you prefer to donate via cash, check or money order, just download and follow the instructions on our ALTERNATE PAYMENT FORM (.PDF). This assures that you get your proper tax deduction and that your runner gets credited for fundraising.
We are well into fundraising for our 2017 season. With your donation, you will automatically be entered into our raffle for a chance to win cool prizes. Our grand prize is yet to be selected, but the past year’s prize was a NEW APPLE iPAD AIR! We are grateful to the businesses that donated additional prizes: Manuel’s Regional Mexican Cooking , Luke’s Locker, SPIbelt, Torchy’s Tacos, Austin Fitness Clinic, Austin Ozone Therapy, Austin Massage Clinic, and Betty’s B&B in Fredericksburg. Prizes are drawn at our After-Marathon Celebration!
$25 donation = 1 ticket
$50 donation = 3 tickets
$100 donation = 10 tickets
In gratitude for your generosity, you will be invited to celebrate with us and to be present for the raffle drawing at our Marathon After-Party! The party begins at 7pm on Sunday, February 19th, 2017 at El Sol Y La Luna on 6th Street in downtown Austin. This is a free event, everyone welcome, with a regular food menu and happy hour drink specials available.
